Standard Committees
Standard Committees
The reaffirmation of our SACSCOC accreditation requires us to address 14 standards set forth by SACSCOC. To ensure that we have a diverse set of eyes helping us gather and present documentation that illustrates our compliance with each standard, we have 14 Standard Committees (SC) with nine members (i.e., faculty, staff, students and administrators) including a chair and vice chair to lead and guide members through the reaffirmation process. Each SC chair serves as a member of the Compliance Steering Committee which oversees the SACSCOC reaffirmation process and prepares final documents for the Leadership Team to review, edit and approve for final submission. The meeting day(s) and time(s) for the 14 standard committees varies; however, each SC chair must present a progress report during the monthly CSC meetings held on Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, and Dec. 11 during the fall 2018 semester from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm in 306 Troup. Below are the members of the 14 SC and the purpose of each standard.
