Sharee' Lawrence

Sharee J. Lawrence is the Fort Valley State University registrar, responsible for directing the process by

which students enroll in courses. She also trains faculty and staff in the use of related technological

systems. Ms. Lawrence manages processes for academic record maintenance and review, graduation

audits, statistical reporting to the Georgia Board of Regents and other agencies, and departmental

budgeting. She serves on various university-wide committees.

Prior to her role as registrar at FVSU, Ms. Lawrence served as interim registrar and recorder, a role in

which she worked to verify student enrollment, and developed reports. She also served as transcript clerk,

processing transcript requests, preparing academic calendars, and managing Banner system processes.

Ms. Lawrence earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a minor in marketing from Fort

Valley State University and a Master of Science degree with a concentration in leadership from Capella

University.
