Procedures for starting a VA folder
Getting Started
- For a first-time student, the certification process takes 6 to 8 weeks.
- A student must maintain a 2.00 GPA (subject to probation if the GPA drops below 2.0).
- A student that has attended another institution and VA benefits were used, please provide transcripts from all schools attended.
- A class schedule must be submitted to the VA Certifying Official every semester.
- If a student withdraws or drops a course during a semester, the student must notify the VA Certifying Official immediately.
- A valid I.D. must be presented every semester to the VA Certifying Official.
