Veterans Day

Fort Valley State University’s Student Veterans Organization presents the 2019 Veterans Day Observance to honor veterans and active members of the U.S. Armed Forces on Monday, Nov. 11 in C. W. Pettigrew Center auditorium at 11 a.m.

FVSU’s Veterans Day Observance features Cheryl McNeil-Jordan Claiborne, FVSU’s ROTC Program director, as the keynote speaker; a musical tribute by the Fort Valley State University Choir; and a pinning ceremony by National Society of Pershing Rifles members.

Toiletry items will be collected and added to care packages for former Wildcats who have been commissioned into the United States Army through FVSU’s ROTC Program.

The ceremony is open to the public. Veterans or active duty members who wish to be recognized during the program should register below.
