Residency Policy

  • Full-time students under 21 with fewer than 60 credits must live on campus and have a meal plan.
  • Students 21+ by the first day of class may be exempt.
  • Exemptions are available for commuters in specific counties or online students.

Submit all exemption documentation for review.

Fall 2026 Important Dates

  • July 31, 2026- Last day for Housing Cancellations
  • Aug 4 and 5, 2026- First-Time Freshmen Fall Move-In Period
  • August 4, 2026- Meal Plans start at 12:00 pm (Noon)
  • August 6 and 7, 2026- University Housing opens for Returning Students (Sessions A & B) at appointed move-in times
  • August 10, 2026- Classes start
  • September 7, 2026- Labor Day Holiday
  • September 30, 2026- University Housing closes for students enrolled in Session B Only
  • October 2, 2026- University Housing opens for students enrolled in Session C Only

 

  • November 6, 2026- Spring 2027 Housing Application Opens (Tentative)
  • November 23–25, 2026- Fall Break (No Classes)
  • November 29, 2026- University Housing reopens from Fall Break at 8:00 am; Dining Hall opens at 12:00 pm (Noon)
  • November 30, 2026- Classes End (Sessions A & C)
  • December 4, 2026- University Housing closes for Fall 2026 after the last final examination (Sessions A & C)
  • December 5, 2026- Residence Halls close
  • December 5, 2026- University Housing closes at 6:00 pm for Fall 2026 graduation candidates; Dining Hall closes at 12:00 pm (Noon)
  • December 5, 2026- Fall 2026 Commencement

Freshmen & Sophomores

Wildcat Commons Residence Hall Suites & Semi-Suites (Buildings 3 - 7)

  •  3-bedroom, 1 bathroom, and kitchenette – $3,009 per semester
  •  4-bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and kitchenette – $3,243 per semester
  • 4-bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room, and kitchenette – $3,487 per semester
  • 5-bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and kitchenette – $3,123 per semester

Upperclassmen

Wildcat Commons Residence Hall Apartments (Buildings 1-2)

  •  2-bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room, and full kitchen – $4,444per semester
  •  4-bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room, and full kitchen – $3,897 per semester
  •  (New) Legacy Hall- 4 bed / 2 bath + living + kitchen, also includes washer and dryer in apartment - $4,351 *Nursing and STEM students only.

Ohio Hall

  • Double room, shared bathroom- $3056 per semester

Wildcat Silver Plan – $2458.56 per semester

  • 19 meals per week in the main dining center plus $150 in Wildcat Cash

Wildcat Gold Plan – $2,520 per semester

  • 19 meals per week in the main dining center plus $200 in Wildcat Cash

Wildcat Platinum Plan – $2,568.80 per semester

  • 19 meals per week in the main dining center plus $250 in Wildcat Cash

Wildcat Blue Plan – $1,708.72 per semester (Wildcat Commons 1-2 Residents)

  •  2 meals per day plus $100 in Wildcat Cash

Commuter Plans

  • 25 meals – $235
  • 50 meals – $420
  • 75 meals – $561.60

 

Move-In Information (Fall 2026)

We are excited to welcome you to campus for the 2026–2027 academic year! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable move-in experience for everyone, we have organized arrival times by building and floor. Please review your assigned time window below and plan accordingly.

First Year (Freshman) 

Tuesday, August 4 and Wednesday, August 5 from 8 am to 12 pm.

Some roads are one-way on move-in day, so make sure you follow any posted signage for your residence hall. To access WC 1, 2, 3, or 4, enter campus from State University Drive (follow the signs).

For residences of WC 5, 6, or 7, enter the campus from Carver Drive (Stadium gate).

Returning Students

•    Thursday, August 6, 2026 — Buildings WC1 and WC3
•    Friday, August 7, 2026 — Buildings WC2 and WC5
•    Sunday, August 3, 2026 — Legacy Hall (Nursing Program students only)
