Because FVSU is a Georgia public college, costs are lower for students who are residents of Georgia, called (in-state tuition). In addition, at FVSU, residents of neighboring states can also qualify for in-state tuition at FVSU. These costs are estimates only for the average traditional student who enrolls at FVSU. Housing Costs (on campus housing)

Your housing costs at FVSU will depend on your living arrangements. Students on campus can live in student apartments, suites, or the traditional dormitory, all of which offer varying degrees of privacy which changes the costs. In general, all freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus unless they are over 21 years old or are residents of nearby Peach, Houston, Bibb, Macon, Crawford, or Taylor counties, in which case they are permitted to live at home with their parents or guardians and commute to campus.

Meal Plans
$1,458 – $2,192
Students who live on campus purchase meal plans, allowing them to eat nineteen meals per week in the main dining facility, which features an all-you-care-to-eat buffet. In addition, most meal plans include “Wildcat Cash,” which can be used to eat at other campus dining locations, like Chick-fil-A or the Slice of Life Pizzeria. Students who do not live on campus (commuter students) can also purchase more limited meal plans, allowing them to space out their meals across the semester. All residential students must purchase a meal plan.

- Wildcat Silver Plan: $2,161 per semester 19 meals per week in the main dining center plus $150 in Wildcat Cash
- Wildcat Gold Plan: $2,215 per semester 19 meals per week in the main dining center plus $200 in Wildcat Cash
- Wildcat Platinum Plan: $2,258 per semester 19 meals per week in the main dining center plus $200 in Wildcat Cash
- Wildcat Blue Plan: $1,502 per semester (Wildcat Commons 1-2 Residents) 2 meals per day in the main dining center plus $100 in Wildcat Cash
Commuter Student Options
Commuter students are not required to purchase a meal plan; however, options are available if they dine on campus.
