Fort Valley State University is proud to invite members of the 50th Reunion Class and 25th Reunion Class to participate in Spring Commencement 2026 through a special alumni giving initiative the Medallion Society.
Introducing the Medallion Society
The Medallion Society is a new giving society created to honor milestone reunion alumni while supporting the mission of Fort Valley State University.
Medallion Society Gift
Donation Range: $250–$500
Gift Made To: FVSU Foundation, Office of Alumni Relations
With Your Medallion Society Gift, You Will Receive:
- Membership in the National Alumni Association
- A commemorative medallion to be worn during Commencement and Homecoming
- Special recognition during the Commencement ceremony
- The opportunity to participate in Spring Commencement 2026
Please note: Medallion Society membership does not include commencement breakfast or regalia fees. These are separate.

Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
Location: Wildcat Stadium
Format: Outdoor ceremony
This opportunity is available only during Spring Commencement.

Payment Deadline: Friday, May 1, 2026
All payments must be received by this date, including the Medallion Society gift, cap & gown fee, breakfast fees, and guest fees.
Cap & Gown Information
Cap and gown sizes will be collected after payment is submitted.
Cap & Gown Pickup:
Friday, May 8, 2026 & Saturday, May 9, 2026
Important Note: Only the regalia purchased for this celebration will be allowed for use. We do not allow any other regalia to maintain uniformity and recognize you as an alum celebrating your 50- or 25-year anniversary.
How to Participate
- Make Your Medallion Society Gift
Choose a donation amount between $250–$500 to the FVSU Foundation, Office of Alumni Relations. - Submit Additional Fees
Complete payment for cap & gown, commencement breakfast, and guest breakfast fees (if applicable). - Submit Regalia Sizing
After payment confirmation, instructions will be sent to submit your cap and gown size.
