Students, this is your chance to secure your exclusive spot for the Fall 2025 Open House at Fort Valley State University. Registration is quick and simple — and you’ll also let us know how many guests you plan to bring so we can make sure everyone enjoys the full Wildcat experience.

Whether you’re bringing parents, siblings, or friends, they’ll get to join you for the day, explore campus, and experience everything that makes life in “The Valley” so special.

When You Register, You’ll Receive:
  • Access to all Open House sessions and campus experiences

  • A spot reserved for you and your guests (just tell us how many are coming!)

  • Event reminders and updates leading up to the big day

 Important Registration Details:
  • Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.)

  • Location: C.W. Pettigrew Auditorium, Fort Valley State University

  • Registration Deadline: Monday, October 27, 2025 (or until capacity is reached)

  • Cost: Free — but advance registration is required for students and their guests

Open House Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

No, attending Fall 2025 Open House is completely free for all registered students and their guests. However, students must register in advance and indicate how many guests they are bringing to reserve spots for everyone.

Absolutely! We strongly encourage you to bring parents, siblings, or friends along. When you register, simply let us know how many guests will be joining you so we can prepare accordingly.

No — only students need to register, but you’ll be asked to include the number of guests who will attend with you. This ensures we have accurate counts for seating, football game tickets, and check-in.

Comfort is key! You’ll be walking around our 1,300-acre campus, so we recommend comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. The forecast for Open House is a high of 62°F with a slight chance of rain, so consider bringing a light jacket or umbrella. And don’t forget a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.

Parking is available in the Pettigrew Center Commuter Lot and Staff Lot.
Guests arriving in vans, buses, or other large vehicles should park in the Horace Mann Bond Parking Lot. Our friendly officers at the guard shack will provide directions when you arrive. πŸ‘‰ View the Campus Map

Lunch is not included in the event, but attendees have a variety of convenient options:

On-Campus Dining
Junia J. Fambro Dining Center will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. serving brunch for $8.68 + tax per person.

  • Please note: All campus dining locations are cashless, so only debit or credit cards are accepted.

Yes! Our Office of Recruitment and Admissions will be conducting on-the-spot admissions evaluations during the event.
