MAYA ROOKARD-McPHERSON, PH.D.


Dr. Rookard-McPherson, a United States Air Force veteran and native of South Carolina with 15 years of experience in the field, is a Psychological Anthropologist whose work to date has focused on research, education, and acute psychology. Her doctoral research and writing was centered in the self-perceived stress/well-being of Correctional Officers within the State Correctional System.
