Upward Bound Eligibility and Application

Eligibility

All participants must be U.S. citizens enrolled at one of the target high schools — Macon County High School or Peach County High School — and currently in the 9th or 10th grade. Eligible students must be first-generation college students or come from an economically disadvantaged background, as defined by the U.S. Department of Education, and demonstrate a strong desire to pursue a college education.

How to Apply

Please complete the online application by clicking the link below.  A complete application consists of: an application, recommendations, income verification, and a copy of an updated transcript. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee admission into the Upward Bound Program. An interview with the student and parent is the final step of the application process. An interview will be scheduled upon receipt of a completed application.
