
Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Financial Aid is to provide access to financial resources in a fair, sensitive and confidential manner; to inform and educate students and their families about their financial options; and, to continually improve our services so that students may take full advantage of their educational opportunities. Answers to many of the questions frequently asked concerning financial aid are provided on the financial aid website.
Grants, Federal Work-Study, loans, and a limited number of scholarships are available through this office to help defray educational expenses at The Fort Valley State University. The Office of Financial Aid should be your first stop if you are looking for information on aid eligibility, the HOPE Scholarship, or the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If you do not find the information that you require, please contact our office. The Office of Financial Aid is located on the first floor of the Troup Administration Building in Suite 113. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m.
