Fort Valley State University is accepting applications for Assistant Professor - Physical Education Pedagogy. Duties begin Fall Semester 2009.

Responsibilities: 

Teach undergraduate courses in health and physical education with a focus on early childhood and elementary grades; advising majors; serving on committees; teaching service activities ; preparing field-based students and interns. An understanding of NASPE/NCATE standards and an ability to gain external funding is desirable.

Qualifications: 

Earned doctoral degree in Health and Physical Education or closely related field with at least three years of experience in public school teaching. Demonstrated experience working with K-12 partners in diverse settings; and demonstrated scholarly productivity.
