Alumni Affairs

The Office of Alumni Affairs sponsors programs and activities for alumni to become actively involved in supporting and working with the university. Alumni Affairs collaborates with the Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association, Inc., to host class reunions, coordinate homecoming week activities, fund-raising and recruitment campaigns, and athletic events. Additionally, the office publishes a newsletter and supplies information about FVSU news to the graduates through other forms of media such as the Internet and e-mail. The Alumni Association strengthens the bond between the university and its graduates while developing financial and volunteer support for the institution.

2008 Alumni Homecoming Schedule of Events

Homecoming is an annual tradition at most colleges and universities – a time when alumni and friends return to their alma mater to renew old acquaintances and make new ones. Fort Valley State is no exception as it gears up for Homecoming 2008, which is Oct. 13-19.
