Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences, at Fort Valley State University. As the oldest and the largest college at FVSU, we are committed to excellence in teaching, research and service that advances the knowledge of its various disciplines and prepares its future leaders.

Whether our students are interested in mathematics, fine arts, music, or mass communication, the College of Arts and Sciences offers a wide variety of programs that our students can choose to explore. Traditional subjects are offered from Psychology, Biology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Sociology, and Criminal Justice to Business Administration and Economics. All of these fields of study are intended to offer a stimulating and exciting learning experience. Because FVSU is a teaching and a research institution, this allows us to provide our students with top quality teaching and research. Our students have the opportunity to work closely with faculty members on various research projects while at the same time, benefiting from top quality instruction in the classroom as well.
